Important Event Update Gov J. B. Pritzker held a joint press conference on Thursday, March 12, 2020, outlining bans on various gatherings and meetings in the State of Illinois in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Gov Pritzker mandated that all events with more than 1,000 people be canceled or postponed. The ban includes everything from large churches, to concerts and conferences.
With these guidelines in mind, next week's Business & Leadership Conference (BLC) has been postponed. The new conference dates are November 6-7, 2020.
The BLC2020PITCH Competition is now scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Therefore, the new BLC2020PITCH competition submission deadline is Friday, October 30, 2020.

BLC2020PITCH Competition provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs throughout the world to showcase products and services that have a measurable kingdom impact, have the potential for commercialization and scalability, and fills a need that solves a real problem in the marketplace.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the three highest-rated contestants in the final round of the Pitch Competition.
All applicants must be a registered attendee of the Business and Leadership Conference.
The first round of judging will end on Friday, October 30, 2020, and up to 15 finalists will be identified.
The 15 finalists will be notified by close of business on Monday, November 2, 2020, that they have been selected to pitch on Friday, November 6, 2020.
Submissions: 30-second video and 10-slide Pitch Deck. Finalists, will have four minutes to pitch their businesses.
The Pitch Deck will include the following slides in this order:
Title: Business name, logo, and tagline
Problem: What unique problem are you solving for your customers?
Solution/value proposition: How are you providing a real solution to your customers?
Product or service description: Provide an overview of your product which includes the kingdom impact.
Customer acquisition strategy: How do you market your business?
Market size: How big is your addressable customer market?
Competition: How are you different from other companies serving your customer needs?
Business model: How do you make money?
Timeline to profitability and how you will scale the business
