International Logistics and Global Trade (Virtual) - 2020 September
Domestically, logistics is an everyday process that we are all very dependent upon and familiar with. However, when it comes to shipping your products overseas, you will want to make sure to have the proper export logistics in place to ensure that your shipment gets to the right place at the right time in the proper condition and with the proper documentation to comply with your customers' expectations so that you can continue to build up your export business.
This workshop will teach you about:
Freight forwarding, licenses and certifications, logistics services (Air/Ocean/Foreign to Foreign/Road to Railway), export and import processes, export packaging (boxed/skidded/crated/containerized/etc.), export documentation, US Customs and Border Protection & Other government entities, and more.

About the presenter:
Larry Bajmakovich, Midwest Sales Manager,BDG International, Inc. Larry has over 25 years of experience in the airline and freight forwarding industries combined and is very knowledgeable about air and ocean export and import, customs brokerage, US Customs compliance rules, and other governmental regulations. His focus is on helping his clients be successful in international markets by providing specialized logistics services for manufactured finished goods, raw materials, chemicals, project cargo, animal genetics, food and food related products.
He works with chambers of commerce, economic development centers, and community colleges through outreach programs designed to educate exporters and importers on a variety of topics such as incoterms, export and import compliance, denied parties, and anti-diversion regulations.
