About the presenters:
Ursula Wegrzynowicz, President , EMELEV LLC. Ursula has worked in Trade Finance for twenty years;Worked at the EXIM Bank, public sector provider of trade finance services; Worked in the International Trade Services areas of Chase and Wells Fargo; Partner at a specialty broker of trade credit insurance; E Award Winning brokerage (2015) and EXIM Bank "broker of the year'' (2008 and 2012); Gained logistics experience at LR International. Ursula was appointed by US Secretary of Commerce to the Illinois District Export Council and serves on the Executive Committee in the role of Secretary. She also has served on the Illinois Advisory Committee to U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.
Michael Howard is the Managing Director for the Central Region of the the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), a full faith and credit U.S. government agency. Ex-Im Bank’s mission is to promote exports of U. S. goods and services through a variety of programs including an Export Credit Insurance program, a Loan and Guarantee program and a Working Capital program. Mr. Howard holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute Technology. He has served on many advisory councils and committees on international financing for small businesses and is one of the authors of the Florida Export Finance Corporation. Alan Lane-Murcia, Vice President and SBA Program Manager at First American Bank. Alan has been involved in international business since 1991 and has been an SBA lender since 2000. He has been involved in every aspect of SBA lending, and oversees the bank's SBA program, including maintaining their status as a Preferred Lender under the Export Working Capital Program and the Export Express Program. Under his leadership First American Bank was awarded the SBA Illinois Export Lender of the year in 2015 and National Export lender of the year in 2017. Alan holds an MBA in International Economic Development from Eastern University and his Bachelor's in Economics and International Studies from Wake Forest University. He is a member of NAGGL (National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders) and serves on its Small Bank Committee.
